‘Nightfall’ is a universe of monstrous strip centering costumes as a medium of transformation. The creatures of Nightfall came alive in a strip performance carried out at Striptopia in June 2024, a short independent video work and a little book of essays.

In their ambiguous presence the monsters blur the lines between human and creature, lust and disgust, fear and familiarity. They carry with them a potential for transformation and transgression which is relevant when exploring who and what we can desire but also who we can desire to be.
